About Work Expert
Work Expert is an independent publishing and referral site for AI gig work - the remote, pay-per-task and contract roles behind training and evaluating AI models. We track 341 listings across 16 platforms, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a recruiter for any of them.
How we work
Every role on the site is pulled from the platform's own job listings or referral portal - title, pay, description and skills, as advertised by that platform.
Listings with no pay information anywhere are excluded rather than shown with a guessed number. We would rather publish fewer roles than publish wrong ones.
Pay statistics and platform reviews were last verified 27 July 2026. Listings carry a real posting date and an expiry, so closed roles drop out instead of lingering.
Work Expert earns a referral fee on some applications, at no cost to you. Every job page discloses this plainly - see our disclosure on each listing.
Who's behind this
Work Expert is a side project from Beyond Labs, not a funded company - a small team building this because the alternative, signing up separately on every platform in this space, is genuinely annoying.
How our pay figures are calculated
Every pay figure on this site - the ranges on job cards, and the typical/floor/ceiling numbers on each platform's pay page - comes from the rate advertised on that specific listing. We report the median of the low ends and the median of the high ends across listings, not the mean, because a handful of unusually high rates would otherwise distort a typical range. Nothing is modelled, estimated or interpolated.
Editorial independence
Platform reviews reflect our own read of publicly available information and the listings we track - ratings are not paid for or influenced by the platforms reviewed. Where we earn a referral fee for a listing, that is disclosed on the listing itself, and it does not change how a platform is rated or reviewed.
