About the Role
Mercor is partnering with a leading AI lab to train frontier models on high-quality legal reasoning data. We're hiring legal research experts with extensive Westlaw experience to evaluate AI-generated legal research, verify legal authority, and help shape how the next generation of AI reasons about complex legal issues. We welcome practicing attorneys, research attorneys, judicial law clerks, law librarians, and other legal professionals who regularly conduct substantive legal research using Westlaw.
What You'll Do
Evaluate AI-generated legal research against real-world professional standards
Verify that cited cases, statutes, and regulations are accurate, current, and remain good law
Independent contractor engagement, fully remote. Mercor pays weekly via Stripe or Wise.
