About the Role
Mercor is building a new, more accurate version of O*NET, the U.S. government's framework describing occupations and tasks. This study gathers direct input from software developers (SOC 15-1252.00) on their day-to-day design, coding and deployment work.
What You'll Do
Complete a one-time online survey/interview about daily development work (up to 30 minutes)
Optionally take part in a separately-paid follow-up survey or short interview
Describe design ownership, architecture and deployment decisions in detail
You're a Good Fit If You
4+ years of experience working specifically as a software developer (not a programmer or web developer)
Current work, or work within the last 12 months, in the role
Independent contractor engagement, fully remote one-time study. Mercor pays weekly via Stripe or Wise.
