About the Role
Python Backend Developer Location: Gurugram | Hyderabad | Noida • Hybrid (3 days/week from office) Turing is looking for Python Backend Developers to join our Digital & Technology team, building backend systems, data pipelines, and LLM-powered automation workflows that bring financial data to life across internal and client-facing platforms. The right candidate combines strong engineering craft with comfort around financial data and the communication skills to work across business and technical teams.
What You'll Do
- Backend Development: Design, build, and maintain Python-based backend services, APIs, and data pipelines; manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases (schema design, query optimization, migrations) in collaboration with data engineers and analysts.
- Process Automation & AI: Build and operate LLM-powered automation workflows with human-in-the-loop review for edge cases, defining escalation logic and audit trails so every automated decision is explainable; partner with product/ops to identify and engineer automation opportunities.
- Finance & Data: Apply working knowledge of financial concepts (cash flows, valuations, portfolio metrics, lease accounting) to build systems that handle financial data correctly, validate pipeline integrity, and support finance/investment teams with reporting tooling.
- DevOps & Infrastructure: Own the full development lifecycle — local dev through CI/CD to production — using Git, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP); monitor system health, manage incident response, and contribute to infrastructure-as-code standards.
- Collaboration & Communication: Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, write clear documentation, and act as a trusted technical partner — asking the right questions and pushing back when requirements are unclear.
