About the Role
Pay: $60-120/hr. Paid per task Time commitment: 10+ hours/week required; 20+ preferred. Time per task: Approximately 3 hours, following approximately 15 hours of initial environment development. Estimates include agent execution time. Your tasks: Build realistic transaction environments and use AI agents to create and review valuation models, deal materials, task instructions, and objective evaluation criteria. micro1 is engaging experienced investment banking and M&A professionals to help build tasks that measure how effectively AI systems can perform complex transaction work.
What You'll Do
- Build realistic transaction environments containing company information, financial statements, diligence materials, and deal context.
- Design multi-step tasks involving valuation, comparable-company analysis, financial modeling, and sell-side advisory.
- Use agentic AI tools to develop and review CIMs, pitch books, valuation models, and supporting deliverables.
You're a Good Fit If You
- Required skills: CPA, AI Agents
- 5+ years of professional experience in investment banking, M&A, or sell-side advisory.
- Hands-on experience building valuation models, comparable-company analyses, CIMs, pitch books, and client-facing materials for live deals.
- Hands-on experience using agentic AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or Claude Cowork for substantive work. General chatbot use alone is insufficient.
- Corporate carve-out experience — strongly preferred.
- Experience at a top-tier investment bank or M&A advisory firm.
- Industrials sector experience.
- Experience developing review standards, training junior professionals, or writing internal playbooks.
