Run these checks a few minutes before your Mercor AI interview. Mercor recommends the latest Chrome, supports Edge and Safari, does not support Firefox or phones, and accepts only full-screen sharing. An attempt that crashes early does not count, but a retake is visible to hiring managers, so it pays to test first.

How this works

The browser check reads your browser's user agent. The camera and microphone test asks your browser for access and shows a live preview and a level bar. The screen test asks you to share and reports whether you picked the entire screen, a window or a tab. When you stop, the camera is released.
